No less an authority than George Strait has informed me that Christmas cookies are a special treat, and the more that get baked, the more I’ll eat (and hopefully that song is stuck in your head now). Whether they’re sugar cookies cut into holiday shapes, gingerbread cookies, or snickerdoodles, the Christmas season isn’t complete without them.

Fortunately, the powers that be at Epcot agree with me. This year they introduced the Holiday Cookie Stroll around the World Showcase. Here’s what you need to know about this delicious holiday activity at the park.

1. What Is It?

The Holiday Cookie Stroll is sort of like a scavenger hunt, though it doesn’t require a lot of complicated searching. You simply pick up a Festival of the Holidays Passport at one of the Epcot gift stores (it’s free). On page 34 and 35, you’ll see a list of countries participating in the stroll and the cookies being served. There’s also a spot to get your passport stamped for each cookie you try.

2. How Much Does it Cost?

As mentioned above, the passport is free. There are six cookies in total, but you only purchase the first five. The last is a completer cookie and is your reward for finding all the cookies. Cookies cost $2, so completing the Holiday Cookie Stroll should only run $10 (assume you’re hunting cookies for one).

3. Which Countries Are Participating?

Your first cookie is in the Showcase Plaza at the Feast of the Three Kings booth. After that, you’ll find your cookies in Germany at the Bavaria Holiday Kitchen, the American Holiday Table in the American Adventure, the L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen between Morocco and France, and at the Yukon Holiday Kitchen in Canada. The completer cookie can be found at Holiday Sweets and Treats back in the Showcase Plaza.

4. What Types of Cookies Are There?

The cookies include a red and green chocolate chip cookie, a peppermint sugar cookie, a green and white sugar cookie, a black and white cookie, and a gold chocolate chip cookie. The completer cookie is a red and green sugar cookie shaped like Mickey Mouse.

5. Merchandise

If you want to commemorate your Holiday Cookie Stroll, there is a glass cookie jar you can purchase at any stand where Festival of the Holidays merch is being sold. The cookie jars cost $19.99.
